Development Control

Development Control committee on 24 April deliberated over 12 applications, three Tree Preservation Orders (for which I managed a hat trick of recommending approval) and one enforcement action.

Applications for a revised car park at the go Ape site in Rivington and an industrial building on the Buckshaw development, close to residential properties were, perhaps, the two most contentious applications.

Local to Chisnall was an application for Festive Lights replacement building in Charnock Richard being approved with conditions regarding intensity of lighting during the hours of darkness and an enforcement notice for Orcheton House Farm in Heskin.
